Sandra Bassett is the Executive Director and CEO of The Wexford Residence Inc. During this unprecedented COVID-19 crisis, Sandra has maintained an organized and safe space for both her residents and staff. Here’s how Sandra is managing the global pandemic.

“Leading an organization through a global pandemic is, without a doubt, the biggest challenge that I have had to deal with throughout my 45-year career as a nurse.  The almost daily changes to policies and procedures make communication with staff, residents and families very difficult but my team is committed to providing the best possible care to keep our residents safe and to keep our families informed through my daily updates.  I have an outstanding team of staff at all levels and I am so proud of them of all. Like you, I wish the present crisis would end soon however I know that we are in this for the long haul. We need to continue to be vigilant as the safety of our residents is paramount.
